Evan Delgado Appointed President of the Turrell Fund

In support of the growth, evolution, and continuity of the Turrell Fund, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Evan L. Delgado to the position of President, effective March 1.

In his new role, Evan will retain responsibility for the programmatic and grantmaking functions of the Fund and will now oversee planning as well.

In connection with this appointment, Evan also becomes the Fund’s Lead Executive for Vermont.

As such, Evan will assume grantmaking and program management responsibility for the Vermont catchment of the Turrell Fund.

He will succeed Kim Keiser, Turrell Trustee, who served as the Fund’s Vermont Executive for ten years until her return to the Turrell Board at year-end 2021.

The Turrell Fund is one of the top three funders of early childhood initiatives in Vermont, in addition to its work in the New Jersey counties of Essex; Hudson; Passaic; and Union.

In his new role, Evan will continue to report directly to Curt Fields, Chief Executive Officer of the Fund.

Evan is a native of California, and he holds an undergraduate degree in Sociology with Honors from Princeton University.

Prior to joining the Turrell Fund, Evan served as the Burke Foundation’s first program lead.

Reporting to Evan in his new role will be Andres Monclut, Director of Grants Management; and Madison McHugh-Thieke, Senior Director of Operations and Programs.

Evan’s team will also include Stan Carroll, Implementation Specialist.

The Turrell Fund congratulates Evan on this important milestone.
