We award our grants to 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations with projects and portfolios especially for the youngest in New Jersey and Vermont.

🚌The Arts Bus is a traveling art and music studio that provides VT children with free activities that inspire creativity and imagination. The bus travels to schools, afterschool programs, camps, and more.
🏕️The Arts Bus’ last stop this summer was at Killington Camp, which campers said was their favorite week.

Check out @writeonsports 2024 summer camp report!
Write on Sports (WoS) is a literacy program designed to empower middle school students through writing and reporting on sports.
Students gain confidence as they use journalistic tools, such as researching and conducting interviews. This past summer, WoS students worked on a written piece as well as a video on a topic of their choice.

On October 16, Turrell Staffers visited @tpcsinc Servant House to learn more about the services offered to combat homelessness.
Turning Point Community Services (TPCS) supports women and their children facing homeless through programs that help them gain independence and stability.
The TPCS Servant House is the only family shelter in Irvington and provides a structure that ensures private living space. TPCS also offers individualized services for each client to support their journey to independence.

Studio Institute is an expansion of Studio in a School, which engages professional artists to support teachers in public schools. Through the Essex County Early Learning Program, Studio provides training and development to classroom teachers in Newark and East Orange.

On Oct. 9, the Turrell Fund was honored to host @njsymphony for the Reception and Annual Meeting at the Van Vleck!
The New Jersey Symphony (NJS) Board and Staff celebrated the past year with Turrell staff and clients. Special guests @ltgovway and @senmteresaruiz shared inspiring words about NJS’ impact on music in the state.
Guests also enjoyed a live performance by Juan Esteban Martínez (The Roy & Diana Vagelos Chair) and Andrew Lamy.
