Madison McHugh-Thieke is the Senior Director of Operations and Programs at the Turrell Fund with diverse experience in nonprofit operations, communications, and strategic planning.

Madison specializes in continuous process improvement and innovative technologies to advance the Fund’s mission of serving the youngest and their families in New Jersey and Vermont.  She manages internal projects and workflows as well as external program initiatives in direct partnership with Turrell clients.

Prior to joining the Turrell Fund, Madison worked at The Nicholson Foundation, a health and early childhood funder in Newark, to support the Foundation’s communications channels and strategy.  She earned a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Relations from Seton Hall University.

Madison believes that investments in early education and a comprehensive social support system are essential to ensure that children have the best start in life.  She is dedicated to helping the helpers, including Turrell clients who provide direct services to children and families in New Jersey and Vermont, by offering technical assistance and other supports reinforced by the Fund’s partnership model and the Client Support Network.
